Lushness is returning to the fields, woods and gardens. This month we're celebrating herbs, one of the first crops to come out of the garden in abundance. Right now, you can expect to find a good supply of perennial spring herbs such as nettles, chives, sage, sorrel, mint and lemon balm. It is also a great time to plant some of the more tender, warm loving, annual herbs such as dill, basil, cilantro and parsley.
Herbs are fun to use in the kitchen, check out some serving suggestions in this month's information poster.
