Community Lunch

IGI is proud to offer free weekly lunches to support Island families during summer break.

Program Dates: June 24 – August 19

Each week, families can pre-order customized meal kits—a week’s worth of lunches for each child—through an easy online order form.

Meal Kit Pick-Up:
Tuesdays, 3–5pm
IGI Kitchen – Airport Business Park

Ordering Details:

This week, due to the holiday, the order form will open on Thursday, July 3, at 5pm.

The portal will close Tuesday, July 8, at 6pm for an order pickup date of Tuesday, July 15.

When school is out of session, students lose access to the nutrition they receive from school breakfasts and lunches. This puts a strain on families struggling to make ends meet, and can jeopardize family food security. IGI has been here to bridge this “nutrition gap” since we started our Community Lunch program in 2017, providing free lunches to children and families in need of food support during summer vacation and other school breaks. We provide approximately 15,000 lunches and meal kits through Community Lunch each year.
