FREE FOOD WASTE DROP-OFF

Drop off household food waste for free at the Island Grown Farm, Chappy ferry dock, and select Island transfer stations. Edgartown, Chilmark, and West Tisbury are currently accepting food waste drop off for free. The service is $2 for a five-gallon bucket at the remaining transfer stations.
Free countertop buckets are available at all Island waste facilities and the Island Grown office.

Join the Ag Society for a lively discussion about the future of food and farming with organic and regenerative principles. Caroline Pam, Co-Executive Director of Island Grown Initiative, will moderate a conversation between Dave Chapman of Long Wind Farm in VT and the Real Organic Project and Andrew Woodruff, owner of Whippoorwill Farm and IGI's Regenerative Farming Consultant.
