FREE FOOD WASTE DROP-OFF

Drop off household food waste for free at the Island Grown Farm, Chappy ferry dock, and select Island transfer stations. Edgartown, Chilmark, and West Tisbury are currently accepting food waste drop off for free. The service is $2 for a five-gallon bucket at the remaining transfer stations.
Free countertop buckets are available at all Island waste facilities and the Island Grown office.

Our Mobile Market will be on the road June through October delivering farm-fresh produce and eggs.

Farm Crew

Join our 2026 farm crew! The Island Grown Farm is seeking hard-working farmers to join our field crew for the 2026 season. Farm workers will be a part of developing and implementing regenerative growing practices while growing food for our community. Employment runs May through the fall, limited housing available.
