Food Pantry Manager
The Food Pantry Manager will lead the day to day operations of the Island Food Pantry. The Manager is the heart of this important community program, meeting the food needs of thousands of year-round islanders and coordinating hundreds of volunteers who power the work of the Pantry. They oversee a dynamic community space with many moving parts, and work in collaboration with many other island agencies dedicated to food access and equity. The Food Pantry Manager also supervises other Pantry staff. This is a year round, full-time position. This position reports to the Food Equity Director.
Full-time | Year-round | $70,000–$75,000

Gleaning & Distribution Assistant
Help get good food where it’s needed most. This hands-on, farm-based role supports IGI’s gleaning, CSA, and wholesale programs, from harvesting and packing produce to coordinating volunteers, facilitating student field trips, and delivering food throughout the Island.
40 hours/week | October - December 2026, with potential for year-round employment | $25–$26/hour

Curriculum Specialist
At Island Grown Initiative, we see education as foundational to making the long-term changes we seek in the food system. The Curriculum Specialist works with the Education Director and the Island Grown Schools team to develop and refine curriculum to bring food, garden and farm education to island students.
20 hours/week | $30/hour | Remote option available
