Please join Island Grown Initiative (IGI) and American Farmland Trust (AFT) for a Field Day on integrated soil health management, biochar, and reduced tillage practices. Learn about IGI's custom strip tiller, on-farm research on biochar and clover mulch, and biochar application methods. View two different portable biochar kilns and learn about on-farm biochar production. 

After the field walk, enjoy a light dinner on the farm and socialize with fellow soil enthusiasts. Weather allowing, we will demonstrate a small-batch biochar burn during the dinner and social hour.
